Scope
The goal of the project was to create web-based software for automated management of the enterprise that manufactures garage gates. The special attention during development was given to usability, failsafe execution and full support the business logic, because legacy standalone software used to be unsatisfactory by these parameters.

Main features of the application:

• warehouse management
• customer management
• order creation using templates
• order entry support
• information aggregation using reports
• export/import of the invoices to 1C: Enterprise book-keeping software
• user authentication (support for user hierarchy)

The structure of the system is intermediate between thin and thick 3-level client-server architectures. The system is originally developed for Carteck Ltd, Kiev, Ukraine (http://www.cartek.com.ua)
